Liz Osler

My name is Liz Osler and I am the founder of Little Groovers. I'm a trained pianist and oboe player, as well as being a self-taught drummer and I'll have a go at playing any instrument I come across! When I'm not in my Groovy role I teach music in a Manchester primary school one day a week. I became interested in leading early years music after researching music groups to attend with my eldest daughter who is now at high school. I came to realise that many of these groups were run by large franchises and that often the group leaders had limited musical training and ability. So I set up Little Groovers as a way of introducing young children to music-making in a relaxed, fun and interactive way.

All of the music that you hear in a Little Groovers class has been specially selected, arranged and recorded by myself, and is pitched so that little ones can find their voices and join in with the songs.

I hold an enhanced CRB disclosure certificate, have full Public Liability insurance through SoundSense, am signed up to the Music Leader, and hold the EduCare NSPCC Child Protection In Music certificate.
